POSITITION TITLE: P2P Instructor / Coordinator 

Employment Type: Full-Time (Grant-Funded)

Funding Source: Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) – Pre-Employment Transition  Services (Pre-ETS) 

Compensation: Based on education and CIL/VR experience 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The P2P Instructor / Coordinator is a grant-funded, allowable personnel position responsible for  overseeing and delivering Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) through the P2P  Pathways to Dreams and Bridging the Gap programs. This position provides direct Pre-ETS  instruction, coordinates partnerships with school systems and vocational rehabilitation staff,  and ensures program implementation, data collection, and reporting are compliant with GVRA  requirements. The role also provides instructional leadership and supervision to the P2P Peer  Support Mentor and supports positive transition outcomes for youth. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Program Instruction & Delivery 

● Plan and deliver Pre-ETS instruction at designated middle and high school sites ● Lead curriculum implementation aligned with Pre-ETS service categories ● Participate in transition fairs, camps, and youth-focused activities 

2. Program Coordination & Oversight 

● Oversee daily operations of the P2P Pathways to Dreams program 

● Coordinate Bridging the Gap activities with VR Liaisons, Counselors, and District  Managers 

● Manage program schedules, onboarding, and enrollment with school systems 3. Supervision & Instructional Leadership 

● Provide supervision and instructional guidance to the P2P Peer Support Mentor ● Facilitate team-teaching opportunities during classroom instruction

● Ensure role clarity, accountability, and performance expectations 

4. Data, Documentation & Compliance 

● Oversee accurate and timely data collection and reporting 

● Ensure compliance with GVRA contract requirements 

● Maintain organized records for monitoring and audit purposes 

5. Family & Partner Communication 

● Manage parent and guardian communications, newsletters, and permission forms ● Participate in curriculum trainings, workgroups, and interagency meetings Perform other duties as assigned. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

● Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, rehabilitation, or related field, or  equivalent experience 

● Experience delivering instruction or coordinating youth programs 

● Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills 

● Ability to collaborate with school systems, VR staff, families, and partners 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

● Experience with Pre-ETS, vocational rehabilitation, or transition-age youth programming ● Experience within a Center for Independent Living or disability-focused nonprofit ● Supervisory or instructional leadership experience 

WORK ENVIRONMENT & REQUIREMENTS 

School-based, community-based, and office-based settings. Local travel required. Evening or  occasional weekend hours may be required. Reasonable accommodations provided in  accordance with the ADA. 

FUNDING CONTINGENCY STATEMENT 

This position is contingent upon the availability and continuation of grant or contract funding.  Continuation of employment depends on satisfactory performance and continued funding.
