State Plan For Independent Living

In order to receive Independent Living funds under Title VII, Chapter 1 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, each state must develop a State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). In Georgia the plan is developed jointly every three years by the SILC and the Georgia Department of Labor – Rehabilitation Services.

The State Plan for Independent Living can always be found at the State Independent Living Council Site.
